Man died despite CPR after apparent drowning

A man, 29-years old died despite emergency care after apparent drowning. The incident occurred in a Mississauga condo pool. The surveillance footage captured the man in the pool according to Peel police.

Watery ordeal

The Peel paramedics were called to the scene at a condo building on Queen Frederica Drive and transported the man to a local healthcare facility without any vital signs. The police stated that he was later declared dead in the healthcare facility.

According to police, the man told his sister around noon that he was going to go downstairs to practice his swimming. The police stated that the surveillance footage captured the man holding onto the edge of the pool. He was seen slowly going around to the deep end and letting go. In just seconds, the police stated that he started to go under.

Without no one there to help him, the police stated that he did not get discovered until shortly before the emergency crews were called to the scene.
