The man who delivered CPR told them they tried to comfort the wounded man.

According to a concerned citizen, he was watching a movie with his common-law partner when they heard an argument followed by a gunshot. He told her to take their baby into the basement while he ran out and shouted for someone to call an ambulance. A neighbor nearby emerged with medical supplies.

Helping out

He found a man lying on a sidewalk between 2 townhouses and performed CPR for 8-10 minutes before the victim passed away. The victim who was in a state of shock from a bullet wound to the neck originally tried to fight them off before understanding they were there to assist. Another man supported the victim’s head while a woman nearby checked the man’s pulse and held his hand.

After 10 minutes, the police and an ambulance arrived. The man was later announced dead on the scene.

On Monday afternoon, a group of the victim’s family members came by. The man who delivered CPR told them they tried to comfort the wounded man.
