A man who was involved in a homicide case received CPR. The police in the Victoria area are investigating an apparent homicide case that left one man dead and another injured.
Homicide case
The Victoria police stated that officers responded to a 911 call from a house in Esquimalt, west of Victoria where they came upon a chaotic scene. In a news release, it stated that the officers found a 57-year old man who was unresponsive and suffering severe injuries.
The officers delivered CPR until the arrival of the paramedics, but the man, whose name was not released, later died in the healthcare facility. A second man was also injured and expected to recover. A 49-year old Victoria man have been arrested and currently in custody.
Prompt action
The prompt delivery of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) can save a life. It is an important technique the significantly improves the chances of survival during emergencies.
