Man found in Maple Ridge house received CPR

CPR was performed on a man found in a Maple Ridge house. A domestic incident might be associated with the death of a 59-year old Maple Ridge, B.C. man.

Timely assistance

Integrated Homicide Investigation Team Sgt. Jennifer Pound stated that the Mounties were called to the suburban Vancouver house just after 2 AM. The paramedics performed CPR on the unnamed victim but were not unable to resuscitate him.

Police believe that the man was involved in a domestic dispute just before he died and Pound stated that the investigators want to know if that played a part in the suspected homicide.

An autopsy has been scheduled and officers remain at the house, around 40 kilometers east of Vancouver. The name of the victim was not released and there are no arrests made yet.
