Paramedics from Urgences-Santé arrived on scene and found that the young girl had already been pulled from an in-ground pool. Urgences-Santé spokesperson Bill Lamle confirmed that the child was not breathing when she was rescued from the water. Despite immediate medical intervention, the girl later died.
