What Happened in Brockville?

On Thursday afternoon, shortly after 1 p.m., Jeannette was walking with her husband in the parking lot of Brockville General Hospital when a vehicle backing out of a parking space struck her.

Police confirmed that the driver had been reversing when the collision occurred. Witnesses immediately called for help and rushed to her side.

Bystanders and paramedics quickly provided first aid and CPR before she was taken into the emergency department. Despite fast intervention, Jeannette sadly succumbed to her injuries later that afternoon.
