First Aid Courses
We offer a wide range of OH&S–approved First Aid and CPR courses, including Standard First Aid and Emergency First Aid (Basic and Intermediate levels).
Our training is available at Calgary’s lowest prices — starting from just $94.99 — and delivered across three convenient training centers.
With weekday and weekend classes available, getting certified has never been more flexible or affordable.
CPR and AED Courses
We offer a number of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillator (AED) courses. These courses are offered with or without first aid training. Learn the latest ILCOR standards in CPR and choking rescues. Courses start at prices as low as $69.99. Private infant CPR classes are also available.
First Aid and CPR Recertifications
Is your first aid and / or CPR certificate expiring? Do you need to have current certification at your workplace? Register for one of our recertification courses to learn the latest standards and to keep your award up to date for as low as $59.99. Our recertification courses are offered throughout the week.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Courses
We offer Heart and Stroke Foundation Basic Life Support (BLS) courses for individual that work in the healthcare industry. This 4.5 hour course teaches basis CPR rescue techniques, how to use and AED and management of life threatening emergencies such as choking and cardiac arrest.
3M Ear Protection Fit Testing
We offer 3M Ear Protection Fit Testing that meets Alberta OH&S standards. This 10 minute test ensures that the hearing device you are using in the workplace is working effectively to keep you safe. Register now to reserve your spot for this test.
Respiratory Mask Fit Testing
We proudly offer qualitative respiratory mask fit testing, using N95 masks, at all of our training facilities throughout Calgary for 34.99 taxes included. This 15 minute course / test is designed to teach individuals how to properly test and wear a mask as well as test the effectiveness of the mask. Our Locations
We’re proud to offer our courses at three convenient training centres across Calgary. Our locations serve key areas of the city, including northwest, downtown, and the southeast Calgary. No matter which location you choose, all of our courses are available at each training centre.
Safety Courses
We offer a number of safety courses including transportation of dangerous goods (TDG), workplace hazardous material information system (WHMIS) and Enform H2S Alive courses for individuals that work in the oil and gas industry. This 8 hour course is offered multiple times per week. Certification meets workplace requirements. Some safety courses are available on-line. Register today.

We are experienced Alberta OH&S workplace approved providers that offer a number of first aid and CPR courses. We also offer food safety certifications programs and on-line safety training. We proudly offer a wide range of first aid courses and CPR courses throughout Calgary at the lowest prices and in comfortable and convenient locations. We promote a no-pressure training policy that allows candidates to re-take courses for free if they do not complete the course the first time. We also offer workplace approved recertification classes for participants needing to renew awards.
We offer easy registration for all of our courses. Register on-line, in person, via email, telephone or via our on-line chat option.
We also specialize in private classes for groups of any size. We can bring the class to you or you can have a private course at one of our training centres located throughout Calgary.
Calgary First Aid Courses
Standard First Aid Courses
Calgary first aid offers standard first aid and CPR courses. Also referred to as intermediate first aid, these classes are accompanied with CPR training. Alberta OH&S approved intermediate first aid includes CPR and AED Training.
Emergency Childcare First Aid
Emergency childcare first aid is one of the most popular first aid programs offered through Calgary First Aid. It is a comprehensive 8 hour course that covers a wide range of first aid topics. CPR level “B” comes standard with this course.
Emergency First Aid Courses
Calgary First Aid proudly offers emergency first aid courses. This course, also referred to as Basic First Aid, includes CPR level “C”, however, it can also include Basic Life Support CPR (HCP). Automated external defibrillator training comes standard with this course.
CPR level “A” Course
Calgary First Aid offers stand-alone workplace approved CPR level “A” courses. This course is designed for people that only need basic CPR and no first aid. This is the most basic CPR course that we offer. It is one of the most popular and the shortest course offered. Automated external defibrillator (AED) training is included in the course.
CPR level “C” Course
Calgary first aid offers stand-alone CPR level “C” Courses. This course is designed for people requiring only CPR level “C” and automated external defibrillator (AED) certification. No first aid certification is included in this course. Participants will learn CPR rescue techniques for patients of all ages.
CPR HCP Course
Calgary First Aid proudly offers workplace approved health care provider CPR (CPR HCP) courses. This course, also referred to as Basic Life Support or BLS, is the most comprehensive CPR course offered. It is designed for candidates working in the health care industry such as doctor’s, nurse’s, students, dentists, and other health care professionals.
Recertifications
Standard First Aid Recertification
Calgary First Aid offers Alberta OH&S approved standard / intermediate first aid and CPR recertification courses for candidates that need recertification. Included in this course is CPR level “C” and AED training and certification. This course is shorter and cheaper than re-taking the original, full standard / intermediate first aid course.
Emergency First Aid Recertification
Calgary First Aid offers OH&S approved basic / emergency first aid and CPR recertification courses. This course is designed for candidates that need to renew certification. This course includes CPR level “A” recertification and automated external defibrillator (AED) training. Emergency first aid recertification courses are shorter than the full course.
Safety Courses
H2S Alive
We proudly feature H2S Alive certification courses. We provide this course at the lowest rates in Calgary. Our instructors are Energy Safety Canada training affiliates that are certified instructors in H2S safety. All candidates that successfully complete this program receive a Energy Safety Canada Hydorgen Sulphide training certificate that is valid for 3 years.
TDG
Calgary First Aid proudly offers workplace required transportation of dangerous goods (TDG) training. This course is offered as in in-class course or on-line. The on-line course offered on this website takes approximately 3 hours to complete. The classroom course takes 4 hours to complete. Participants that successfully complete this course will immediately receive a TDG certificate that is nationally approved. Certification is provided through St. Mark James Training.
WHMIS
Calgary First Aid proudly offers Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) training and certification. This course is offered in either a classroom format or in an on-line course format. Both courses provide identical content and certification. The on-line course is approximately 3 hours in length. The classroom WHMIS course takes approximately 4 hours to complete and is offered monthly.
