One person was reportedly killed after a multi-vehicle crash in Chilliwack despite CPR. At the time of the incident, there were at least vehicles involved. One was even positioned resting on the roof and front windshield of another.
Dangers on the road
As a response, several ambulances, firefighters and police arrived at the crash site which occurred east of the Vedder Road overpass in the westbound lane. The emergency responders were seen performing CPR on one of the victims.
The westbound traffic was diverted to Yale Road West as a landing zone was in place in the westbound lane. The traffic in both directions was affected.
