Candidates registered in this course will learn to treat victims of the following emergencies:
- Unconscious breathing adult, child and infant victims.
- Unconscious non-breathing with pulse adult, child and infant victims.
- Unconscious non-breathing with no circulation, adult, child and infant victims.
- Conscious and unconscious obstructed airway (choking) adult, child and infant victims.
- Victims in cardiac arrest.
- Victims having circulatory emergencies including heart attacks, angina and strokes.
