Prerequisites for Standard Childcare First Aid Recertification Courses in Vancouver:
To be eligible for a Standard Childcare First Aid Recertification, candidates must:
Have completed a full or recertification course within the past 3 years.
Present a valid certification card from a credible provider, such as St. John Ambulance, the Red Cross, St. Mark James Training, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Lifesaving Society, or SAFE First Aid.
Important Note:
Expired certification cards will not be accepted.
Candidates who fail to present a valid card at the start of the class will not receive a recertification card.

Course Price
We feature workplace standard childcare first aid, CPR level “B” and AED recertifications for only 84.99. Our prices include taxes and workplace certification fees.

Course Length
The length of the course is mandated by workplace first aid and CPR providers. It takes approximately 6 hours to complete the program.
Course Content
This course will renew all of the skills and knowledge of the full course. Candidates will cover cardiopulmonary resuscitation and automated external defibrillator techniques for adult and child victims. Participants will also cover a number of first aid topics such as shaking baby syndrome, external bleeding, spinal injuries, head injuries, environmental injuries and cardiovascular injuries to name a few.
No Pressure Policy
At Calgary First Aid our standard childcare first aid recertification programs have a “no pressure” policy that states if you do not complete the course after attending the first time you can re-take the course at no extra cost.
Cancellations and Transfers
We do not accept transfers or refunds within 72 hours of the initial course. Transfers are charged 25 dollars within 72 hours of the course. Prior to this time you can receive a full refund or transfer any other course. There are no refunds for rescheduled events.
