  • Refunds, transfers, or cancellations will not be granted within 72 hours of the course’s commencement or after the course has started.
  • After the 72-hour window or once the course has begun, the course is considered a final sale, and no refunds or transfers will be processed.
  • No refunds will be issued once a course certificate has been awarded.
  1. Student Responsibility in Course Selection
  • It is the student’s responsibility to confirm the course and certification requirements with their employer or educational institution prior to registration.
  • We strongly recommend verifying that the selected course aligns with institutional or workplace requirements before enrolling.
  • Refunds will not be provided for incorrect course selection within 72 hours of the course start or once the course has commenced. Additionally, no refunds will be granted after the issuance of a certificate.
  1. Course Requirements and Conduct
  • English Language Proficiency: Students must possess sufficient English language comprehension. If a student encounters difficulty due to language barriers, they may retake the course at no additional cost, provided they successfully complete both the skills demonstration and written exam. If the student fails the course after a second attempt, they must pay the full course fee to retake it.
  • Behavioral Expectations: Students are expected to demonstrate appropriate conduct during all course sessions. Disruptive behavior or refusal to follow instructions will result in removal from the course, with all fees forfeited.
  • Physical Requirements: Students must be capable of performing floor-based work. If a student has a physical disability or limitation, they should consult customer service prior to booking to ensure they meet the necessary requirements for First Aid training.
  • Medical Disclosure: All medical conditions or limitations that could impact participation or safety must be disclosed during booking. Failure to do so may result in denial of participation and forfeiture of fees.
  1. Course Upgrades
  • Students may request to upgrade to a higher-level course within 30 days of completing the initial course. If more than 30 days have passed, the student must pay the full price for the upgraded course.
  • When upgrading within 30 days, students will only be charged the price difference between the original course and the upgraded course.
  • Students must attend the full course, including both the skills demonstration and written exam, to qualify for the upgrade.
  1. Non-Attendance and Late Arrival
  • Non-Attendance: Students who fail to attend a scheduled course, without prior notice, forfeit all course fees.

  1. Rescheduling and Break Policies
  • Students must adhere to scheduled break times. If a student extends their break beyond the allowed duration, they will be required to reschedule the course, subject to a $25 rescheduling fee.
  1. Course Completion and Exam Requirements
  • To pass the course, students must successfully complete both a skills demonstration and written exam. The instructor will determine the student’s performance and pass/fail status.
  • If a student fails either component, the course is considered unsuccessful. Both components must be passed for course completion.
  • Retake Policy: If a student fails the course, they are entitled to a free retake if both components were successfully attempted on the first occasion. If a student fails a second time, they must pay the full course fee to retake the course.

  • Upon successful completion, students will receive an approved Alberta OHS First Aid certification, which meets CSA standards and is recognized by employers and educational institutions.

  • The organization is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by the student due to course cancellation, including travel or lodging expenses.
  1. Recertification
  • No refunds or transfers will be granted if a student does not possess a valid certificate on the day of the course. Students must ensure their certification is valid to attend the course. If a certificate has expired or is invalid, students must purchase the relevant course to meet certification requirements.
  1. Online/Blended Courses
  • Online or blended courses are non-refundable once purchased.
