Ontario mother given CPR after rescue attempt

A mother who drowned was given CPR. The incident occurred in Frenchmen’s Bay in Pickering Ontario as she attempted to rescue her son from the choppy waters.

Watery ordeal

Based on the reports by the police, the 6-year old son of the mother was on a flotation device, but she was worried that he was far out and went in to bring him back.

It remains unclear at this time what precisely went wrong, but the mother was later pulled from the water without any vital signs.

Upon the arrival of the paramedics, they attempted CPR on the woman who was in her thirties. Sadly, the mother was later declared dead at a healthcare facility.
