Workplace Approved First Aid & CPR Courses in Calgary

Calgary First Aid offers a variety of workplace and academic approved first aid and CPR courses. All of these courses are taught by trained and experienced first aid instructors. Candidates that successfully complete these programs will immediately receive first aid and CPR certification. Select the course that you need from the selection below. All classes include training in CPR and the use of automated external defibrillators (AED).

Different Types of First Aid and CPR Courses include:

• Standard First Aid Course in Calgary, CPR, and AED – This course, also referred to as intermediate first aid, is a two day (14 hour) course that covers a range of first aid topics and gives candidates the option of CPR level “A”, “C” or “HCP” to partner with the course. AED training is included. This is an OH&S approved course.
• Emergency First Aid Course in Calgary, CPR, and AED – This course, also referred to as basic first aid, is a one day (7 hour) course that covers only the major first aid topics and includes CPR level “C” or “HCP”. AED training is included. This is an OH&S approved course.
• Childcare First Aid, CPR, and AED – Standard childcare first aid is a two day course and emergency childcare first aid is a one day course. Both include training in CPR level “B” and the usage of AEDs. This is not an OH&S approved course.

Certification for Workplace Approved First aid Courses in Calgary:

Once the candidate successfully completes the skills component and the multiple-choice exam with a minimum grade of 75%, he/she will immediately receive a first aid and CPR certificate valid for 3 years. Certification is provided in the form of a wallet sized certificate. Participants that require a larger certificate can contact the customer service representatives to inquire about receiving larger certifications.
