First Aid and CPR Courses
Standard First Aid – This course is a comprehensive, two day first aid and CPR course that takes approximately 14 hours to complete. Typical participants include teachers, students, health care workers and oil and gas workers. Participants can partner this course with CPR level “A”, “C” or “HCP”.
Emergency First Aid – This course is typically referred to as a “basic” first aid and CPR class. This course takes approximately 8 hours to complete and includes teaches participants about circulatory emergencies, respiratory emergencies, wounds, CPR and AED usage. CPR is included in the course and participants can partner the course with either CPR level “A”, “C” or “HCP”.
Standard Childcare First Aid – This course is designed for individuals that work in the childcare or daycare industry. This is a detailed, two-day course that takes approximately 16 hours to complete. CPR level “B” is partnered with this course and participants can not opt for any other level of CPR training.
CPR and AED “Only” Courses – No First Aid
CPR level “HCP” – This course is often referred to as CPR level “C” for health care providers. This 6 hour CPR “only” course is designed for individuals that work in the health care or medical industry that need more advanced CPR training that includes the usage of trained assistance and a bag-valve mask.
Infant CPR Course – This is a private course designed for new or soon-to-be parents that want to learn basic CPR and choking rescue techniques for infant and child victims. A qualified workplace approved instructor arrives at your home and teaches your family how to manage a variety of emergency situations. Course takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
Workplace Approved Re-Certification Courses
Standard First Aid Re-Certification – This course is designed for participants that need to renew expiring standard first aid certification. Participants can select either CPR level “A”, “C” or “HCP” to partner with the renewal course.
Workplace Safety Courses
Enform H2S Alive – This 8 hour course is designed for participants that work or want to work in the oil and gas industry. Participants learn a variety of techniques, skills and knowledge on how to stay safe around Hydrogen Sulfide.
Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) – This course is offered on-line or in a classroom format. It takes approximately 4 hours to complete this course and certification is provided immediately upon completion. Participants will learn about a variety of safety requirements when transportation dangerous goods.
Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) – This course is offered on-line or in a classroom format. It takes approximately 4 hours to complete this course and certification is provided immediately upon completion. Participants will learn about a variety of safety requirements when managing hazardous materials in the workplace.
