CPR performed on the man involved in a road accident

The police officers delivered CPR upon arrival on the scene. Sadly, the man was declared dead before he could be transported to a healthcare facility.

A 45-year old pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in the Laval neighborhood of Chomedey. According to the police, the man was crossing Samson Blvd between 2 intersections when he was struck. The officers delivered CPR when they arrived at the scene, but the man died.

Based on the reports, the 38-year old driver did not see the pedestrian crossing due to the poor lighting in the area. Alcohol is not considered a factor in the incident.
