You must meet the following criteria:
- Your previous certification must be from an approved provider such as St. John Ambulance, Red Cross, St. Mark James, Heart & Stroke Foundation, or Lifesaving Society.
- You must have completed your previous course within Canada.
- Online-only certifications are not accepted.
Upon successful completion, participants receive a St. Mark James CPR HCP / BLS and AED certificate, valid for 1 year and accepted by healthcare employers across Alberta.
