Standard Childcare First Aid

Standard childcare first aid and CPR level “B” is a course designed for individuals that work or want to work in the childcare or daycare industry. This course teaches a number of different first aid topics and teaches candidates CPR level “B” (adult and child CPR). After successful completion of this course candidates will receive a standard childcare first aid and CPR level “B” certificate that is valid for 3 years. This certificate also includes AED certification.

To register for a standard childcare first aid and CPR level “B” course scroll to the bottom of this page to view all of the available course dates, times and locations. We offer this course at our Calgary training centre at least 4 times per week at various dates and times. Select the course that fits yours schedule and complete the registration forms and payment to ensure your spot in the course. Certification

Candidates that successfully complete this course will receive a wallet sized standard childcare first aid, CPR and AED certificate. This award is valid throughout Canada for 3 years. Candidates may also request a wall mount certificate. Childcare first aid is not a Alberta OH&S approved course.

Course Length

The length of this course is 16 hours. This course is normally completed within two days, however, we do provide a week-night course in which this course is broken down into 3 week-nights (Monday to Wednesday).

Course Cost

The cost of this course is 129.99. The fee is a flat fee and includes taxes and workplace certification fees.

Re-Certifications

For candidates that need to renew expiring standard childcare first aid awards you can visit our standard childcare first aid re-certification page (find it on our menu) to see if you are eligible for the renewal program.

Transfers and Refunds

We do not accept transfers or refunds within 72 hours of the course. Prior to this time you can request a full refund.
