A man who was stabbed on Halloween night succumbed to his injuries. Only a few details were released, but the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team confirmed that it has taken over the case.
The stabbing incident occurred near 8th and Columbia streets at around 11:30 PM. The police were called to the area for reports of an assault with a knife. The first responders found a man suffering from serious injuries. The paramedics and firefighters performed CPR for several minutes before rushing him to a hospital.
Meanwhile, the police conducted a dramatic arrest just a few blocks from the scene. The officers pointed guns at a man in the middle of Columbia Street, telling him to crawl toward them so he can be handcuffed.
