A man was successfully revived with CPR after pulled from a house fire. The man was rushed to a healthcare facility in life-threatening condition after being pulled from a house fire in Scarborough without vital signs.
Unexpected ordeal during a house fire
The blaze broke out at the residence on Alexmuir Boulevard in the Brimley Road and Finch Avenue area shortly after 6 PM.
According to Toronto Fire, the crews encountered flames and smoke at the rear of the building upon arrival. The man was removed from the basement of the house after a search and successfully revived with CPR.
There were two other people who got out before the firefighters arrived and were taken to the healthcare facility with minor injuries.
The cause of the fire is not immediately clear.
