Niagara drowning victim identified

A 19-year old Toronto man died in a drowning incident. The police have identified the man who drowned in a creek in Niagara Falls.

Watery dangers

Zelgie Hashimi was reported missing somewhere in the area of the Kingsbridge Park which is in the Chippawa area of Niagara Falls. The police were later notified that Hashimi was last seen swimming in Chippawa Creek.

An extensive search of the creek beds and waterways were conducted. After a while Hashimi’s body was found at the bottom of Chippawa Creek.

If you spend a lot of time in the water, it is vital to enroll in a first aid course. You will learn the necessary life-saving skills including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and other first aid measures to improve the chances of survival.
