Every Calgary First Aid instructor is continuously audited throughout the year by a lead instructor that works directly with Alberta OH&S, ensuring that every class maintains the highest instructional and safety standards.

In addition, annual full audits are conducted at least once a year — a level of review that is virtually unheard of in the Canadian first aid industry. This commitment ensures that every participant receives consistent, compliant, and high-quality training, regardless of the classroom they attend.

Instructor Training That Sets Us Apart

Most large first aid providers in Canada qualify new instructors after just four days of training and a couple of co-teaches. At Calgary First Aid, that simply isn’t good enough.

Our instructors complete over two weeks of intensive classroom instruction, followed by a minimum of one month of co-teaching under the direct supervision of a lead instructor. Only after demonstrating consistent excellence do they become certified to teach independently.

This process ensures that every Calgary First Aid instructor isn’t just certified — they’re highly qualified, experienced, and confident in delivering life-saving education.

Classroom Oversight Through Technology

Every Calgary First Aid classroom is equipped with cameras to support ongoing quality assurance. This allows our lead instructors to conduct spot audits and provide immediate feedback, ensuring that every course meets our exacting standards.
