CPR level “A” Course
Calgary First Aid offers stand-alone Red Cross CPR level “A” courses. This course is designed for people that only need basic CPR and no first aid. This is the most basic CPR course offered through the Canadian Red Cross. It is one of the most popular and the shortest course offered. Automated external defibrillator (AED) training is included in the course.
CPR “A” Course Cost
The cost of the CPR level “A” course is 58.99 (taxes included). Course fee includes Red Cross certification fee, CPR manual and all applicable taxes.
Course Length:
The length of this course is 3 to 4 hours and is completed within one day.
Course Content:
Candidates in this course will learn to recognize and treat victims of the following emergencies:
- Unconscious breathing adult victims.
- Unconscious non-breathing adult victims.
- Obstructed airway (choking) conscious and unconscious adult victims.
- Cardiovascular emergencies including stroke, angina and heart attacks.
- Victims of cardiac arrest.
Red Cross Certification:
Candidates that successfully complete the course will receive Red Cross CPR level “A” and AED certification cards that are valid for 3 years. Re-certification courses are not available for CPR level “A”.
No Pressure:
At Calgary First Aid we understand that people learn at different speeds and in a variety of different ways. If you do not complete the course the first time you are eligible to re-take the course at no extra cost.

To register for a CPR level “A” and AED course select the course date, time and location of your choosing from the selection below. Complete the registration and pre-pay via our on-line secure payment system to guarantee a spot in the course. Accepted on-line payment methods include debit card, credit card and PayPal. Private Courses:
Calgary First Aid offers CPR “A” and AED private courses in which you can book a course with us at our training location or we can come to you. If you are interested in booking a private course please contact us via email at inof@firstaidcalgary.ca or via phone.

We have comfortable and convenient training locations throughout Calgary.
Refunds and Cancellations:
Refunds and cancellations are not accepted within 72 hours of the course. Prior to 72 hours of the course candidates are eligible for full refunds and cancellations.
