CPR HCP Re-Certification
Calgary First Aid offers stand-alone health care provider CPR (CPR HCP) re-certification courses. This course is designed to renew expired or expiring CPR HCP certificates. Included in this course is training and re-certification in automated external defibrillators (AED’s). This renewal course is shorter and cheaper than the original, full CPR HCP course.
Course Length:
The length of this course is 4 to 5 hours.
CPR HCP Course Cost:
The cost of this course is 64.99. Included in the course fee is the Red Cross certification fee’s and tax’s.
CPR HCP Re-Certification Eligibility:
To be eligible for a CPR HCP re-cert course candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Candidates must have completed a full course or re-certification course within the past 3 years.
- Candidates must have completed the previous course through a credible provider such as the Lifesaving Society, Heart and Stroke foundation, St. Johns Ambulance or the Canadian Red Cross. Certificates received through online courses are not eligible for Red Cross re-certification.
- Candidates must have completed the previous course within Canada. International certificates are not recognized by the Canadian Red Cross.
Red Cross Certification:
Candidates that successfully complete the course will receive a Red Cross CPR HCP and AED certificate that is valid for 3 years.

Calgary First Aid offers CPR HCP re-certification in comfortable and convenient locations throughout Calgary.

Complete the registration form and submit payment to guarantee yourself a spot in the course. Accepted methods of payment include debit card, credit card and PayPal. Additional Notes:
- Please bring previous CPR HCP certification award.
- Please wear comfortable clothes.
Refunds and Cancellations:
Calgary First Aid does not accept refunds or cancellations within 72 hours of the course. Prior to 72 hours of the CPR HCP re-certification you can receive a full refund.
