CPR HCP Course
Calgary First Aid proudly offers Red Cross health care provider CPR (CPR HCP) courses. This course is the most comprehensive CPR course offered through the Red Cross. It is designed for candidates working in the health care industry such as doctor’s, nurse’s and other health care professionals. Candidates will learn more advanced CPR skills including training in the use of bag-valve masks. Included in the course is certification and training in the use of automated external defibrillators (AED’s).
CPR HCP Course Length
The length of this course is 5 to 6 hours. It is normally completed within one day.
Course Cost
The cost of this course is 69.99. Course fee includes taxes, Red Cross certification fee and CPR manual.
Course Content:
Candidates registered in this course will learn to treat victims of the following emergencies:
- Unconscious breathing adult, child and infant victims.
- Unconscious non-breathing with pulse adult, child and infant victims.
- Unconscious non-breathing with no circulation, adult, child and infant victims.
- Conscious and unconscious obstructed airway (choking) adult, child and infant victims.
- Victims in cardiac arrest.
- Victims having circulatory emergencies including heart attacks, angina and strokes.

To register for a stand-alone CPR HCP course select the course date, time and location from the selection below. Complete the registration form and pre-pay to guarantee yourself a spot in the course. Accepted methods of payment on our on-line registration system include debit card, credit card and PayPal. No Pressure:
At Calgary First Aid we understand that people learn through a variety of different methods and in a variety of different speeds. If you do not complete the course the first time you are eligible to re-take the course at no extra cost.

We have many comfortable and convenient locations throughout Calgary to take a Red Cross stand-alone CPR HCP and AED course.
Private Courses:

Refunds and Cancellations:
Refunds and cancellations are not accepted within 72 hours of the course. Prior to 72 hours candidates can receive a full refund from any CPR HCP course.
